Losky Films was set up by producer/writer Saskia Sutton in 2006. ScreenWM awarded Losky films slate funding for three feature films which she is currently developing with their Advantage Development Fund via Advantage West Midlands.

Losky Films has just concluded the production of the Digishort ‘ENGLISH BLOODY ROSE’. The Writter/Director is Alex Jones (’NOISE’,‘CANNED PEACHES IN SYRUP’).ENGLISH BLOODY ROSE is about a university student who is forced to take desperate measures to pay her way through her studies, without realising her mother has been doing the same. The truth comes to light when the dark underworld they are embroiled in confronts them head-on. 

The Lighting Cameraman is Nick Beeks-Sanders, 2008 winner ‘Award for Excellence in Drama’ by the Guild of Television Cameramen. Design by James Lawton, Music is by David Lowe. The cast is Jillie Meers as the mother CAROL and the daughter is played by Birmingham School of Acting graduate Jennifer Kristian. PAUL, the pimp, is played by Alex Jones.

Saskia Sutton has recently produced ‘S4H’ for ScreenWM/ADF and Swish Productions. ‘S4H’ is a feature film trailer for a feature project developed by the Executive Producer Roger Shannon’s Swish Film production company. The writer/director is Khaled El Hagar.The feature film is scheduled for production in 2008.

She has been a production executive for over 20 years and has worked as executive producer on the feature film Regeneration and the Documentary film Rehearsals and with such diverse filmmaking talent as Nic Roeg , Gillies MacKinnon , the animator Richard Williams commercials director Howard Guard and documentary director Michael Grigsby.
